LPNMR 2007 will be held in downtown Tempe. The street address is 699 S. Mill Avenue, Tempe, AZ. Free wi-fi is available in downtown Tempe as well as in the conference venue. The conference will be held in the following building. This building has 2+6 class rooms with various audio-visual facilities.
The front of the above Building complex looks as follows.
There are three hotels and a motel within walking distance of the conference location. The first two places are the best in terms of the quality of the place, comfort, closeness etc. There is a big difference between the first two places and the next two. I am told that the 4th place is as good or may be better (because its closer) than the third place. Since our university will be having the graduation during the days of the conference, many of these hotels will get booked. So please book as early as possible.
- Mission Palms resort : 3-5 minutes walk. The ASU rate is $159/day (+$9.75 hospitality) until rooms at that rate are sold out. Please call the hotel directly and mention that you are visiting ASU.
- Courtyard Marriott: 4-5 minutes walk. We have a courtsey agreement with them for a rate of $135/day for some number of rooms. Please call the hotel directly (480-966-2800) and mention that you are booking for the "ASU Computer Science and Engineering event."
